I am not a Therapist, I'm a Coach. What's the difference?
Generally speaking, Coaches tend to be more present and future focused, while Therapy tends to have more of a past and present focus. Even with this fact, good Coaches should be able to help you understand how the past contributes to your present, and good Therapists should be able to help you work towards your future goals. If you’re experiencing stress, anxiety, sadness, or a feeling of overwhelm due to current events unfolding in your life then a Coach can help guide you through these temporary negative states. Unlike a Therapist, a Coach will help you identify your goals, plan steps to reach them, and help hold you accountable for your actions.
A therapist has the ability to diagnose mental illness and medicate according to Medical Protocols.
If medication is required, coaches are still able to support you along side your regular therapist.
Certain services are now available in person or via video call. Please contact us below to request information about "in-person" sessions.
I require 24hr advance notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
No. And neither are other vegans... Some vegans are just blinded by their passion that they end up being very confrontational, aggressive, and down right rude. Although they have good intentions, they ultimately drive people away from the vegan lifestyle by treating it like a cult. I believe in a more gentle, inclusive approach.
